One of the latest product announcements is the new StoneGate™ SSL VPN 1.1., a solution that offers fault-tolerant connectivity and enhanced ease of use for mobile and remote access. Now organizations can offer easy and secure access to enterprise information, applications and networking resources. StoneGate SSL VPN has recently received VPNC (Virtual Private Network Consortium) certification, a certification that assures standard-compliance and interoperability. VPNC is the international trade association for manufacturers and providers in the VPN market, which upholds the current and future IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standards. During the VPNC certification process, StoneGate SSL VPN proved to be interoperable with other technologies and products. Stonesoft has a long track record of delivering high-quality, standard-compliant security solutions. The VPNC certification further demonstrates our commitment to delivering products that meet the highest industry standards and are securely and seamlessly interoperable with other solutions in the market. Services to Customers
StoneGate 4.2 secure connectivity solution comprising of StoneGate Firewall/VPN, IPS and
IPSec VPN Client, all centrally managed with the StoneGate Management Center (SMC). The solution
allows managed service providers (MSPs) to offer their customers services where they can directly
and safely see how their security policy is enforced, while at the same time offering visibility
into the customer’s own network.

Support for IPv6
Stonesoft´s StoneGate Firewall, VPN and Intrusion Prevention System solutions will
support IPv6. The first StoneGate IPv6 solutions are scheduled for release in the second quarter of
2008.
The importance of IPv6 has been recognized particularly in the U.S., where the Federal Government has set a deadline that all of its agencies should be IPv6 ready by June 30, 2008. In Europe, the transition to IPv6 has until now been largely limited to education and research networks.
