StoneGate secure connectivity solution provides comprehensive and reliable network security,

The StoneGate secure connectivity solution comprises of a Firewall and an Intrusion
Prevention System (IPS). The firewall protects data security at the perimeter or at the network
segments and the IPS defends the network proactively by detecting malicious packets within regular
network traffic and blocking them before any damage occurs. Implementing the IPS expands the
defence further within networks enabling comprehensive, multi-dimensional network security. The
Firewall and IPS work together to provide intelligent defence all over the enterprise network.
For optimum suitability for varying capacity needs/installations StoneGate secure
connectivity solution for best value networks offers three FW appliances:
- StoneGateTM FW-1200 with 2 Gbit/s capacity and 8 interfaces
- StoneGateTM FW-1050 with 800 Mbit/s and 8 interfaces
- StoneGateTM FW-1020 with 400 Mbit/s and 6 interfaces
Additionally, for optimized layered protection, StoneGateTM IPS-2000 with 600 Mbit/s throughput and 8 interfaces can be configured as separate sensor/analyzer appliance or a combined model according to traffic demands.
