Stonesoft’s StoneGate security platform to be distributed by Qual as part of a reseller partnership
Qual meets its customer demands for affordable ISP load balancing solutions and adds value to its product offering by reselling StoneGate Multi-Link technology
Reading, UK – 2 April 2007 – Stonesoft Corp. (OMX: SFT1V), the
leading innovator in network security and secure, optimised resilient connectivity, has signed an
authorised reseller partnership agreement with Qual, a specialist in IT solutions for the
corporate, SME, government and education sectors. Under the agreement, effective immediately,
Qual will distribute Stonesoft’s intrusion prevention and detection system (IPS), firewall, SSL and
VPN technology.
By providing StoneGate, Qual will be able to meet strong demand from customers for a
cost-effective ISP load balancing solution. Stonesoft’s patented Multi-Link™ technology provides
high availability and load balancing for Internet and VPN traffic across multiple internet service
providers (ISPs). Multi-Link omits the hassle of expensive hardware deployments or lengthy
conversations with an existing ISP in order to maintain resilient, secure, communication.
By providing Stonesoft’s innovative ISP multi-linking and VoIP resilience technologies, Qual will be able to support businesses with multiple locations and provide customers looking for additional resilience within their networks the opportunity to utilise their existing bandwidth and implement a cost-effective approach to building a resilient network.

Qual intends to promote Stonesoft’s Firewall, Multi-Link and SSL facilities to its customer base and demonstrate StoneGate’s IPS capabilities at Infosecurity Europe 2007 in April, where Stonesoft representatives will be available on the Qual stand number E224.
