Research discusses most-effective technologies and best practices to protect networks, systems, applications and data

The Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Network Firewalls provides an overview of the enterprise firewall markets and its development, positioning vendors in the field based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision. The primary key issue of the research is finding the most effective technologies and best practices to protect networks, systems, applications and data.

Gartner regards the enterprise network firewall market as a mature yet significantly dynamic market. While the demands on network firewalls are changing, firewalls need to interoperate as part of the larger security ecosphere.
