StoneGate solutions now distributed in whole Europe
Helsinki, 1 October 2008 – Stonesoft, an innovate provider of
integrated network security and business continuity, and Magirus, one of the leading IT solution
providers in Europe, have further extended their distribution agreement to cover the whole Europe.
After initially covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, the agreement has now been
extended to include Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal and
the Middle East. Through the cooperation with Magirus, Stonesoft further strengthens its market
position and support services for its partners and customers.

Alongside its security partners, Magirus is also addressing the StoneGate products
specifically at its business partners in the virtualisation environment. Within the integrated
virtualisation approach represented by Magirus, the StoneGate solutions provide an important link
between virtualisation and security. The StoneGate security solution for VMware environments,
comprising of the StoneGate Firewall and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) appliance, allows the
realisation of secure, high-availability networks both in virtual and physical environments.

as a series of supporting marketing measures for specialist trade partners.
