StoneGate Firewall/VPN major version 4.3 released
The StoneGate Firewall/VPN major version 4.3 has been released. Features include new inspection modules for e-mail, such as IMAP, POP3, and SMTP protocols as well as enhancements to the already supported protocols (SIP), DHCP server capabilities, and hardware monitoring. StoneGate Firewall/VPN supports also VMware virtual environment.
Also, StoneGate FW/VPN 4.3 introduces integrated anti-virus functionality. Please note that at this time, the anti-virus feature requires is only available for the FW-310 and requires updated software and license to the 4.3 version. Also note that the anti-virus feature requires SMC 4.3.3 or newer.
