New StoneGate SSL-1030 appliance offers full mobility and remote access security in one package
Helsinki, Finland –11 August, 2009– Stonesoft, an innovative
provider of integrated network security and business continuity solutions, introduces the new
StoneGate SSL-1030 appliance that covers the remote access needs of the whole organization. The
solution offers also easy clientless access with strong authentication for business applications
from anywhere. Instead of 3rd party authentication tokens, the mobile workforce can use their
mobile phones for strong authentication. The SSL VPN solution increases the efficiency of remote
workers and removes any barriers in their connections to corporate resources.
The SSL-1030 appliance has been designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized
organizations with up to 100 concurrent mobile users. The solution is also a valuable tool for
MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers), offering them a straightforward, simple way to fulfill
the security and mobility requirements of their customers. The StoneGate SSL-1030 is a secure entry

New features offered by StoneGate SSL VPN 1.3
The new SSL-1030 appliance comes with the latest StoneGate SSL 1.3 software version, which offers some interesting new features:- versatile authentication (OATH)
- support for remote upgrades
- extended single sign-on (SSO) support
- traffic recording
- support for Microsoft Outlook ActiveSync
- support for Windows security center
- advanced password policies
- contextual session control
