Stonesoft adds SSL VPN appliances to the StoneGate product line
Secure Mobile Connectivity Solution provides remote users with mobile access and uncompromised security
ATLANTA - June 18, 2007 - Stonesoft Corporation, an innovative provider of integrated network security and resilient connectivity solutions, today introduced three new SSL VPN appliances as part of the new line of StoneGate Secure Mobile Connectivity Solutions. The addition of SSL VPN provides Stonesoft customers with secure, mobile access to business applications from any location, regardless of the device or network type. Employees, partners and customers can easily access business data from anywhere at any time.

The StoneGate Secure Mobility Solution supports all web-enabled devices, adapting the SSL VPN portal according to the user’s device. With StoneGate SSL VPN, users can log into the portal using single sign-on and can view all available applications in a single view. The SSL VPN portal acts as proxy for the user - meaning the user is never directly connected to back end applications - adding another layer of security to the solution. Moreover, the solution allows secure roaming between different network types such as WLAN.
When combined with other StoneGate products such as the Intrusion Prevention
System (IPS) and Firewall appliances, the SSL VPN forms a multi-dimensional defense system, where
networks are protected with several layers of security that communicate seamlessly together. This
field-proven technology expands comprehensive protection to the whole network and raises network
protection to a previously unseen level.
The StoneGate SSL VPN appliances provide uncompromised security with strong, yet easy to use authentication and end-point security control. The SSL VPN family includes three appliances designed to accommodate the needs of different sized companies and remote users. They include:
