Alphaware Reseller Program Brings StoneGate Security Solutions to Brazilian Market
Atlanta – May 20, 2008 – Stonesoft and Alphaware today announced a
partnership to bring StoneGate Secure Connectivity Solutions to the Brazilian market.
Alphaware, a leading technology integrator in Brazil, will launch a new reseller initiative this
week that will introduce StoneGate solutions for physical and virtual environments, including the
company’s patented Multi-Link Firewall/VPN, IPS and SSL VPN appliances, to Brazilian
organizations.
Alphaware announced a new channel strategy this week that will place key resellers,
technology specialists and salesmen at principal locations throughout Brazil. The new channel
program includes Stonesoft’s existing partners MasterSoft Technologia and NetSolutions as well as
several new resellers including Andracom, Brazcon, Aim7 Informatica, ECE, CoreSec and Htec.
As part of this initiative, these resellers will receive information and training on the entire
suite of StoneGate products.
“While building out the details of this channel program we interviewed our customers to
determine which products to distribute,” said
Waldir Santos, President of Alphaware. “Our customers
have always responded very positively about their experience with Stonesoft products, as well as
the level of support they received. StoneGate Secure Connectivity Solution is an ideal
offering for this new program. “
“The Brazilian market presents a tremendous growth opportunity for Stonesoft,” said
Paul Johnson, president of Stonesoft Inc. “We are excited
to have such a strong partner in Alphaware to help us further build our presence in this key
market.”
Alphaware launched the channel program this week with Stonesoft technical training hosted at
SUCESU in São Paulo. Companies or resellers interested in joining the program can contact
