As hosting provider, Jouve has considerably developed within the Corporation, due to the
explosion of the Internet. In no time, its service has developed with more than 20 members of
staff, and it still keeps on growing regularly. Such growth is due to a great increase in

StoneGate is a security appliance that integrates firewalls. Jouve has selected StoneGate in particular for its unified management functionalities, active/active mode firewall cluster enabling service continuity as well as improved performance.
An essential imperative for Jouve's hosting activities is to maintain complete service continuity. To do so, it was necessary to meet the ISO standard, fixing the network availability level to 99.5 %. Stonesoft is one among the very few manufacturers and editors of security solutions to suit the condition. All these characteristics have enabled Stonesoft to be chosen as the partner that meets Jouve Corporation's expectations.
New network architecture built through StoneGate
Jouve has performed tests based on StoneGate's solution in order to compare products. These tests have been convincing, and have enabled to identify the potentially most malevolent attacks on the network. They have also shown StoneGate's high-quality level in performance, resilience, reliability and availability.
StoneGate was deployed over Jouve Corporation's network architecture in 2001. The aim was to secure the Internet links while ensuring service continuity and redundancy. In order to meet these requirements completely, Jouve relied on Stonesoft's technical skills, in tight collaboration with ACE Service, to get a relevant modular level.With Stonesoft, Jouve was enabled to enforce security and to implement a complete chain redundancy of Internet links, firewalls and other components.
