Mika Jalava

Mr. Mika Jalava (born 1968) has worked at Stonesoft since 1997. In 1997-1999 he worked in
customer support, presales and consulting. In 1998-1999 he was located in Atlanta. After returning
to Finland in 1999, he became responsible for establishing and leading the Stonesoft Competence
Center. In 2003-2007 Mr. Jalava also served as the manager of the Stonesoft Support team and since
summer 2006 he was also responsible for the Product Management as the Director, Technical Services.
Before his career at Stonesoft, Mr. Jalava has worked in the Laboratory of Water Resources Research in Helsinki University of Technology, built networks and internet connections for several schools and institutes and taught information technology courses at Porvoo Commercial College.
Mr. Jalava holds a M.Sc. degree in Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology.
